Md Emdad ul Bari has been appointed chairman of the Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC)

Iqbal Mahmud, a former secretary of telecommunications ministry, has been appointed as the new chairman of the Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission.
