The High Court yesterday upheld a trial court verdict sentencing 20 Buet students to death and five others to life in prison for killing Abrar Fahad in 2019.

A Narayanganj court yesterday placed the three accused on a two-day remand in connection with the death of Buet student Mohtassim Masud in a road crash in Purbachal upazila of Narayanganj.

A murder case was filed early today over the killing of Buet student Fardin Noor Parash, whose body was recovered from Shitalakkhya river in Narayanganj on November 7.
