Bangladesh Road Transport Corporation (BRTC) files a petition with the Supreme Court seeking stay on the High Court order that asked it to pay compensation to the family of Rajib Hossain, who lost his right hand in a road accident and later died last month.

College student Rajib Hossain, who lost his right hand in a road mishap in the city three days ago, was not out of danger yet, doctors said yesterday.

He wakes up in a delirium every now and then, trying to find his right hand with the left one. He searches in vain, and goes back to sleep again.
