Legendary filmmaker Martin Scorsese has joined Bollywood director Neeraj Ghaywan’s upcoming film "Homebound" as executive producer, ahead of its world premiere at this year’s Cannes Film Festival.

Dr Shariful Islam, assistant professor at the Department of Media Communication and Journalism at North South University, is set to participate in the 78th Cannes Film Festival as an academic expert.
