The Shakib Khan starrer latest Eid release, “Toofan”, has captivated audiences and reached unprecedented popularity. The film accumulated significant attention both locally and internationally. Recently, he participated in an exclusive interview with the Indian Express, delving into his distinguished career and offering insights on a range of subjects.

Several movies, songs, and OTT content have hit the screens and digital platforms during Eid ul-Azha, garnering significant attention and applause from audiences. Among them, the spotlight has prominently shone on the movie "Toofan", directed by Raihan Rafi.

Today, the much awaited Shakib Khan starrer ‘’Toofan” finally arrived in cinemas. 123 halls are screening the Raihan Rafi directorial project.

Over the past two years, no film featuring Shakib Khan has premiered outside the Eid season. This pattern has sparked criticism, with many speculating that Shakib avoids non-Eid releases out of fear of box office failure. True to form, Shakib Khan's latest movie, "Toofan”, is set to release this Eid-ul-Azha.

To promote the film, Kolkata star Mimi Chakraborty arrived in Dhaka early yesterday, having flown in from Kolkata the same afternoon. She attended a press conference held at a five-star hotel in the capital on Wednesday evening.

Shakib Khan's latest film, "Toofan”, is set to premiere on Eid-ul-Azha, and advance ticket sales began 10 days prior to the release. Remarkably, 40 percent of tickets for the initial days have already been sold.

Chanchal Chowdhury shared this information on his social handle, saying that the song titled “Tu Zinda Hain” will be revealed tomorrow at 10am as part of a surprise promotional campaign before the film’s release.

Srijit shared the good news on social media, congratulating the team on this achievement. He also personally shared the news with Chanchal Chowdhury.

Goutam Ghose recounted his first encounter with Chanchal Chowdhury. “I first saw Chanchal on stage,” Ghose revealed. “I was watching a play by the legendary theatre personality Mamunur Rashid, and I saw him (Chanchal) perform. There was a challenging role in 'Moner Manush,' and after seeing the play, I felt he would be perfect for it.”

Chanchal Chowdhury, who will be playing a cameo role in the Shakib Khan starrer “Toofan”, was spotted in the teaser of the film.

This film marks the first on-screen collaboration of Monami and Chanchal. Sharing her experience of sharing the screens with the “Monpura” famed actor she expressed a heartfelt emotion with Anandabazar. “Chanchal da is the most down-to-earth co-star I’ve ever worked with,” said the actress.

Earlier, the first look of FS Nayeem in the "Kaalpurush" teaser surprised the audience, as he underwent a massive transformation, gaining 30 kgs for his role. 

Chanchal Chowdhury, a celebrated figure in Bangladeshi cinema, garnered widespread recognition for his portrayal of renowned Indian filmmaker Mrinal Sen in the film "Padatik" when it premiered at a film festival last year.

Chanchal seems to brilliantly catch the essence and significance of playing the filmmaker in his most turbulent, struggling phases amidst different political upheavals of his filmmaking career.
