Bubly is being heavily praised for playing the role of Arpa in "Prohelika", which has been directed by Chayanika Chowdhury. The audience has gone so far as to say that this is the best performance in Bubly's career.

This Eid, two of Shobnom Bubly’s films, “Casino” and “Prohelika” were released in theatres.

On Monday, the full trailer for the film was released and it only further increased the hype surrounding the project.

"Mona is an intriguing character, and portraying the character has been a joyous challenge. I am genuinely thrilled to be a part of it," said Mahfuz Ahmed with childlike glee, when talking about his film Prohelika which will hit the theatres this Eid-ul-Azha. 

Chayanika Chowdhury "Prohelika" has finally received its uncut certificate, and the makers were quick to release its teaser, yesterday. 

Mahfuz Ahmed's rough look has impressed the netizens. In fact, many people could not even recognise the actor, who used to be one of the most romantic actors on-screen. In "Prohelika", the actor is seen in a tormented and defiant look.

After a long hiatus, Mahfuz Ahmed is now back with a new film, "Prohelika", opposite actress Shabnom Bubly. Directed by Chayanika Chowdhury, the film will soon be released in theatres. In a candid conversation with The Daily Star, Mahfuz Ahmed shared his experience of working on the film and more.

The first song from Chayanika Chowdhury’s directorial film, “Prohelika”, was premiered recently in Dhaka Club. The song “Megher Nouka” has been written by Asif Iqbal and sung by popular artistes Imran and Konal. This will be Chayanika’s second directorial film. The film will star Mahfuz Ahmed and Bubly.
