Nearly two decades into their musical journey, Chirkutt has surprisingly only released three albums so far. Two years ago, they teased fans with the announcement of a new album titled “Pendulum”.

For over two decades, the band Chirkutt has been a prominent name in the country’s music scene. From Bangladesh to international stages, the band has carved out a name for itself. After releasing several albums and songs over the years, Chirkutt is now making a long-awaited comeback. After an eight-year gap, the band is all set to drop its fourth studio album later this month.

To mark six months since the victory of the July Uprising on August 5, the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement (SAD) is set to host one of Bangladesh’s largest open-air concerts. Titled “Rebuilding the Nation”, the event will take place on February 22 at Sher-E-Bangla Nagar in Agargaon, Dhaka, the former venue of the Dhaka International Trade Fair (DITF).

Rahat Fateh Ali Khan has finally arrived in Bangladesh, to specifically perform at a concert in Dhaka titled "Echoes of Revolution." The Pakistani singer touched down at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at midnight on Friday.

To show support for the families of the martyrs and injured from the July-August uprising, renowned South Asian musician Rahat Fateh Ali Khan is set to perform in Dhaka at a concert titled “Echoes of Revolution.”

It's within this Chattogram’s landscape that this year's much-anticipated "Joy Bangla Concert", one of the country's biggest concerts is taking place.

You might know him as the drummer for Chirkutt, but Pavel has been especially prominent in the music industry as a music producer, dominating the ad film market and lending his talents to films like “Saturday Afternoon”, “Television”, “Doob”, “Piprabidya” and more.

The Joy Bangla Concert, traditionally held in Dhaka since 2015, will take place at the MA Aziz Stadium in the port city of Chattogram on March 7 this year. This marks the first time the concert will be held outside Dhaka.

Following the conclusion of the national elections, concerts are making a comeback with familiar faces taking centre stage once again. News of concerts happening across various locations in the country surfaced in February, with popular band Chirkutt set to captivate audiences.

As part of a celebration of cultural exchange between Bangladesh and Norway, the renowned band Chirkutt – often referred to as Bangladesh's global brand, and Marte Wulff, one of Norway's prominent musicians and climate activists, have collaborated to produce a new song titled "Let the Light In".

On January 1, Dhaka witnessed the celebration of the 55th anniversary of broadcasting Bangla programs in China's state media at Deepto TV's premises. Minister of Cultural Affairs State Minister KM Khalid graced the event titled "Hello China" as the chief guest. The event also welcomed the Chinese Embassy Charge' D'affaires Yan Hualong.
