Chittagong Medical College has formed a three-member committee to investigate the incident of using the college email ID for circulating the press release declaring the strike by private clinics and diagnostic centres in Chittagong on Sunday.

The interns of Chittagong Medical College Hospital and the students of Chittagong Medical College kept the hospital's main gate closed for over six hours from 6:00am yesterday, causing suffering to patients.

This adds to the emotional trauma suffered by families who have just lost a loved one. It’s a double blow for the family members who already face shock of sudden demise of one of their family members.
