Produced by Chabial and released on the OTT platform Chorki as part of the “Ministry of Love” series, “Forget Me Not” is a web-film conceptualised by Mostafa Sarwar Farooki and directed by Robiul Alam Robi. Premiering on September 5, the film delves into the complexities of modern relationships against the backdrop of Dhaka’s evolving urban landscape.

Raihan Rafi’s film will be released on not just one, but two OTT platforms. The director shared the news on his official Facebook page.

Nuhash Humayun's anthology web-series "Pett Kata Shaw'', featuring spine-chilling horror stories, garnered significant acclaim. The production house also shared that "Toofan” will be running in 22 theatres in America this week. However, the number of theatres will exceed 50 by July 12.

After a long hiatus, Mithila and Tahsan have reunited for the web-series “Baaji”, released on June 13 on the OTT platform Chorki. Directed by Arifur Rahman, the series delves into the corruption and betting in the world of cricket. Tahsan stars as senior cricketer Abir, while Mithila plays a journalist named Jinia.

Noted Indian actor Saswata Chatterjee is a well-known face in both Bollywood and Tollywood. His powerful performances in films and on OTT platforms have wowed audiences, and he enjoys a massive fan base in Bangladesh as well.

As Eid-ul-Azha approaches on June 17, 2024, film enthusiasts are eagerly anticipating the seasonal cinematic offerings. For cinema halls, this period is a vital one, as it brings a surge in audience numbers.

Recently, both stars attended a press conference held at a club in the Gulshan area to promote their web-series "Baaji", directed by Arifur Rahman. The event marked the first time Tahsan and Mithila shared a stage post-divorce, smiling and engaging with the media.

The 2-minute-13-second song was composed and arranged by Naved Parvez, with lyrics by Tahsan Shuvo. Arif Rahman Joy lent his voice to the track, with Rapstar Dadu featuring in the rap section. The song was mixed and mastered by Shubhadeep Mitra in Mumbai and recorded by Rajbir Ahmed at R-cube Studio.

In the web-series, Tanzika plays the character of a housewife, Nova. “My character is unique and significant, offering ample opportunities to showcase my acting skills,” she described.

Chanchal Chowdhury, who will be playing a cameo role in the Shakib Khan starrer “Toofan”, was spotted in the teaser of the film.

Director Salzar Rahman used to direct music videos and ad-films. Sharing about the plot of “Kalpurush” he said, "I had visited a medicine shop in Old Dhaka a long time ago. The story of this series came to mind for various reasons from there. Then I wrote the series during the time of Covid-19 quarantine period.”

Chorki has unveiled the first look of "Kaalpurush", featuring Chanchal Chowdhury, Tanzika Amin, and FS Nayeem.

The teaser highlights the tension between the two generations, as their contrasting ideologies are reflected in their words.
