Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal today said it is mandatory to install CCTV camera at all puja mandaps to ensure security during upcoming Durga Puja, the largest religious festival of the Hindu Community.

Attacks on religious minorities in the country are not isolated incidents, rather all of them are pre-planned, speakers said during an event on communal attacks and what society can do to combat those.

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir blames the government for its failure to ensure communal harmony and security of people saying the trend of attacks on minorities is an ominous sign for the country.
