Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi beaks his silence over a wave of attacks on people accused of eating beef or slaughtering cows, saying that killing in the name of an animal sacred to majority Hindus was wrong.

Bangladesh has condemned the recent attacks on the Saudi embassy in Tehran and its consulate at Mashhad in Iran as such acts are a clear violation of the 1961 Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations and the 1963 Vienna Convention on Consular Relations.
