The European Commission declares it will provide US$ 2.26 million for the victims of cyclone Roanu in Bangladesh under humanitarian grounds.

Thousands of people have been rendered homeless in several coastal upazilas of Chittagong, Cox's Bazar and Bhola as Cyclone Roanu has left a trail of devastation in its wake.
