Four persons of Moulvibazar are sentenced to death for committing genocide during the Liberation War in 1971.

Public Administration Minister Syed Ashraful Islam says that death sentences will surely be executed after bringing back the fugitive killers of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
