Visiting the DAS on its fifth day, I had a wonderful experience of watching this performance live. While walking through the gallery, I was fascinated by the thunder noises and the soft sound of raindrops hitting the ground. It took me a while to find the pavilion, and by then there was a small group of visitors circling the performance.

The Slavic fairy tales and Soviet stories formed a significant part of the childhood memories of people who grew up in the subcontinent from the 1960s to the mid 1980s.

With a call to celebrate the world's largest non-commercial research and exhibition platform for South Asian Art and the grandest fiesta of versatile artistic expression, the third edition of Dhaka Art Summit returns to the capital's Shilpakala Academy on February 5.

The third edition of the Dhaka Art Summit -- dubbed the world's largest platform for South Asian art-- will be held on February 5-8, 2016 at the Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy, the organisers announced in a press conference yesterday.
