The Dhaka Motor Show came back to its old home at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) from May 1 to 3, reclaiming all four halls after a brief relocation to the Bangladesh-China Friendship Exhibition Centre. The venue was packed with cars, bikes, trucks, scooters, lubricants, helmets, tool vendors, accessory peddlers, and food stalls—but not much in the way of actual enthusiasm for driving.

175 companies from 17 countries are taking part in the show

One of the most celebrated automotive shows of the country returned for its 16th instalment, where, like every year, local automotive manufacturers showcased the latest cars, bikes and other aftermarket supporting parts for vehicles. Besides the new releases, there have also been a few tuner cars to look for as well. 

The 3-day international exhibition will remain open from 10:30 AM to 8:30 PM and continue till Saturday, March 18.

The Dhaka Motor Show annually features a large international exhibition of automobiles and is a much-anticipated event for local motor enthusiasts.

Every year, Dhaka Motor Show is held by CEMS Global for three days and gathers the country's automotive enthusiasts, bike enthusiasts, consumers and commercial and industry professionals. This year’s show at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) was the biggest one compared to its predecessors as they booked the whole ICCB, as it was finally held after two years after coming out of an ongoing pandemic. 

Automakers and exhibitors have brought in new models of cars to meet the demand of the country's growing consumer class and car-lovers at the 14th Dhaka Motor Show that began yesterday.
