Dhaka Metropolitan Police Commissioner Md Shafiqul Islam says police personnel suspected of taking drugs will have to undergo dope tests, failing which will result in dismissal from their jobs.

Md Shafiqul Islam, the new commissioner of Dhaka Metropolitan Police, has said that he would work as an officer-in-charge (OC) to make police stations more people-oriented.

Additional Inspector General of Police Md Shafiqul Islam has been appointed as the new commissioner of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP).
