Braving rain, thousands of people from different parts of the capital are thronging the Central Shaheed Minar this afternoon to join the rally, protesting the killings during the quota reform protests and release of all the arrested and detained students and people

Expressing solidarity with the students' protest, rickshaw-pullers gathered on the road in front of the Central Shaheed Minar today

They came in thousands. From students to teachers, guardians with children, lawyers, civil society members, and political activists -- all gathered to join “Droho Jatra” in front of the Jatiya Press Club seeking justice for those killed during the recent violence.

Thousands of people from a wide spectrum of life demonstrated in Dhaka and elsewhere in the country demanding justice for those killed in the recent violence and release of the arrestees and detainees.

The protesters sat down in front of the police. Seven of them started writing anti-government placards by placing them on the street
