BNP will decide in two days whether it would field any candidates in the upcoming Dhaka and Chittagong city corporation elections, a senior leader of the party says

Four mayoral aspirants collect nomination forms today for contesting the upcoming elections to the Dhaka city corporations.

The Election Commission has issued show cause notices to 12 councillor aspirants of the Dhaka South City Corporation elections for not bringing down their electoral posters till today.

The police chief says they will feel comfortable if the elections to the capital’s two city corporations and Chittagong City Corporation are held by April 30.
