Fashion enthusiasts and Salman Khan fans can now purchase the amazing collections and new arrivals of Being Human products directly through Daraz from anywhere across the country.

A draft of the new digital commerce law has drawn mixed reactions from industry people and customers alike as some believe a legal framework is necessary to prevent fraud while others opined that it would lead to increased bureaucracy in the emerging sector.

zDrop, a new e-commerce platform, was launched by Zaynax Group through a ceremony at Hotel Platinum Grand in Dhaka’s Banani on November 9.

She took advance payment from customers luring them with hefty discounts and then purchased a plot and flat with over Tk 9 crore. Her relatives also purchased property with the customers’ money. 

Evaly’s creditors are unlikely to get their money back as there is no documentation at the controversial e-commerce platform’s end, making it difficult to verify who is owed what amount, found an audit into the company’s books commissioned by the court-appointed board.

A total of 10,747 complaints have so far been filed against Evaly and only 4,495 were settled as of June this year, according to the DNCRP.

E-commerce purchases through cards bounced back in March as the total transaction value crossed Tk 900 crore for the first time since July last year, when a number of scams were unearthed in the sector.
