A magnitude 5.6 earthquake struck Nepal today, the German Research Center for Geosciences (GFZ) said.</p><p>The quake was at a depth of 10 km (6.2 miles), GFZ said.</p><p>The quake was also felt in parts of India including its capital New Delhi.</p>

In a gesture of friendship, Bangladesh has started sending 10,000 metric tons of rice to Nepal for the earthquake victims.
