Emma Mackey is set to transition from Greta Gerwig’s vibrant “Barbie” universe to the magical realm of “Narnia”, reuniting with the director for her adaptation of CS Lewis’ classic fantasy series for Netflix.

Eshaan has appeared in shows like “Mock the Week”, “Frankie Boyle’s New World Order”, “The Big Asian Stand Up Night”, and “Good Morning Britain”; being the first person of Bangladeshi descent to do so.

Based in the British country side, the dramedy follows the life of high schoolers, where Emma plays the tantalising social pariah Maeve Wiley.

Emma Mackey and Aimee Lou Wood, who rose to fame on hit Netflix show "Sex Education", and historical epic "The Woman King" actor Sheila Atim are among the nominees in the rising star category in the BAFTA Film Awards.
