Celebrated composer and singer Emon Chowdhury and his band Bengal Symphony are all set to represent Bangladesh at the Osaka Expo 2025

To celebrate the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy has arranged a Chand raat special musical event. The programme will take place today at 7 pm at Nandan Mancha, featuring performances by Emon Chowdhury, Nancy, and Qawwal Ahmed Noor Ameri. Ameri is well-known for his expertise in Qawwali and Maizbhandari music.

Celebrated composer and singer Emon Chowdhury has introduced his latest musical venture, “Bengal Symphony”. The project’s debut track, “Phul Neya Bhalo Noy”, is set to release today, Saturday. Inspired by poet Jasimuddin’s poem “Holud Boroni”, the song has been voiced, composed, and directed by Emon Chowdhury himself.

In the past few years, he emerged as one of the finest music directors in the country, weaving his magic in films like “Hawa,” Gunin, “Raat Jaga Phool, and “Maya – The Lost Mother.”

The song began with the opening shot of a leaf flute being played, an instrument that is deeply rooted in the folk culture of the country.

Yesterday, Emon Chowdhury posted a special surprise for his fans as he paired up with a musician from Netherland, Raina Rodina, which is being appreciated by his fans. 

“Nasek Nasek” famed singer, Animes Roy recently lent his voice to the soundtrack of the film “Noya Manush”—which is being directed by Sohel Rana Boyati. The song is titled “Shonar Mon” and has been written by Sujan Hajong and composed by Emon Chowdhury.

The first song written by prominent author Muhammad Zafar Iqbal for the film, “Adventure of Sundarban”, will be released tonight. The song titled “Ay Ay Shob Taratari”, was voiced by Emon Chowdhury and Joyeeta Dutt with the music composition by Emon Chowdhury.
