SI Anik, a Bangladeshi esports player, is scheduled to participate in the finals of the Capcom Pro Tour 2024, also known as Capcom Cup 11, the official tournament held by Capcom for the popular fighting game 'Street Fighter 6'.

BASIS Students’ Forum, an arm of the Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services (BASIS), the national trade body for the Software & IT Enabled Service industry, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Zenetic Esports and LEVEL7, a Bangladeshi esports management and production venture, to advance esports and gaming education across educational institutions in Bangladesh.

Two Bangladeshi esports teams, CMF Kral’s Council and MLT Crisis Requital, have reached the finals of the MLBB Champions Battle (MCB) Season 3, the official Bangladeshi tournament for the mobile game 'Mobile Legends: Bang Bang'. Subsequently, by reaching the finals, both teams have qualified for the South Asian round of the MLBB World Cup, to be held later this year. 

Two all-female Valorant teams from Bangladesh, Team Hexagon and Team Celestials, have secured qualification for the South Asian round of the VCT Game Changers tournament, an esports event officially hosted by Riot Games, the maker of Valorant.

The grand finals of the second edition of eBlaze Women Series Valorant Championship 2024, hosted by EMK Center, has just wrapped up. Last year's winners, team 'Morposix Celestials', clinched the championship this year as well by defeating team 'Hellbent Caraxes' with a score of 2-1 in the final game.

Organised for the first time in the country by the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang authority, the tournament drew 128 enthusiastic teams, with the top contenders battling for supremacy in the gaming arena.
