Bringing together the distinctive works of eleven emerging artists, “Eternal Eleven” showcases a range of creative expressions exploring personal visions, emotions, and dreams. The exhibition stands as a testament to the young artists’ evolving mastery and their shared passion for visual storytelling.

These are the questions that photographer Mostifqur Rahman Johan confronts in his exhibition Living on Death Row, curated by Tanzim Wahab and co-curated by Hadi Uddin. The exhibition, hosted at Drik Gallery, portrays the stories of 12 individuals who spent years in condemned cells before finally being released.

Slated to run till April 19, 2023, the exhibition also has abstract paintings in bright colors and letters inspired from love and compassion that is extended towards Faraaz Ayaaz Hossain, by the people he has left behind.

The scenography for the project was made by Paris-based multinational architecture, art, and design group Golem. It has been created with the support of Harper Collins India. The installation invites visitors to enter a forest of enormous pages where scenes from the book stand as tall as trees.

"Shonglogno", a solo exhibition featuring the works of Rakibul Anwar was recently displayed at La Galerie, Alliance Francaise, Dhaka. The exhibition was inaugurated on November 18, in the presence of Her Excellency, Marie Masdupuy, Ambassador of France to Bangladesh; eminent artist Professor Dhali Al Mamoon, and artist-critic Mustafa Zaman.

On November 10, Project 88 inaugurated Munem Wasif's second solo-exhibition at their gallery in Mumbai, India. The exhibition is titled "Kromosho"--'step by step' in Bengali--and features Wasif's body of work, which the artiste has developed over almost two decades. Munem Wasif’s image-based works often mix photographs with moving images, archive documents or collected paraphernalia to reveal notions of impermanence and insecurity. A major theme throughout his work, is the philosophy of leaving things open to interpretation.

On 17 November, Kuhu Plamondon hosted her 3rd art exhibition at the Bay Edgewater Gallery, Gulshan Dhaka. Finding inspiration from the simplest of things, Kuhu’s art collection this time was a sheer reflection of her thoughts. Sponsored by City Bank Limited, Mercedes Benz, and Bay Developments Ltd, the event exhibited some of the mesmerising arts of Kuhu Plamondo.

In order to commemorate the 50 years of friendship between Bangladesh and the US, EMK Center recently organised a print exhibition—showcasing the artworks of Bangladeshi and American artists—appropriately named “50 Years of Friendship”.

On Monday, 26 September, 2022 Dhaka Kitsch, a charity event supporting the non-profit organisation, Thrive, was held at the Edge Gallery Gulshan. The Infinite Library did not have books. It consisted of virtual spaces, a set of "eight jars" or volumes that—using a VR journey through the users' phones—told the story of our planet's evolution, starting from the beginning of cosmic dust to human consciousness.
