Court has denied bail to former officer-in-charge of Sonagazi Police Station Moazzem Hossain and sent him to jail on charges of illegally recording a sex assault victim.

Police Bureau of Investigation would be pressing charges against 16 suspects in the Feni madrasa student Nusrat Jahan Rafi murder case today and all of them could be facing the death penalty.

The committee formed by the Police Headquarters to probe the killing of Feni madrasa student Nusrat Jahan Rafi has found four cops, including a top district police official and former Sonagazi OC Moazzem Hossain, guilty of negligence.

After Nusrat Jahan Rafi was taken to the rooftop of Sonagazi madrasa's administrative building on April 6, fellow students Umme Sultana Poppy and Kamrunnahar Moni held her hands tight.
