The movie, financed by the Bangladesh government, is built around the premise of commemorating Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s March 7 speech and was released on August 11.

Like clockwork the names of the recipients of the National Film Awards 2022, this year, were recently announced. The awards will be handed out to the winners by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on November 14 at the Bangabandhu International Conference Center.

What I can say is that the film's director, Shyam Benegal, is quite satisfied with my performance. Additionally, Bangabandhu's family has seen the film and expressed their satisfaction. They have acknowledged the effort and hard work we put into it."
