Purnima and Ferdous first worked together in "Modhu Purnima" in 1998. Although the pair didn’t work in many movies together, they have a strong friendship which is beautifully put on display in their films. Today is Ferdous' birthday and his dear friend Purnima spoke to The Daily Star about their amazing friendship.

Ferdous and Purnima will be reuniting for a special song sequence on BTV’s celebrity Eid programme show “Anandamela.” The "Hotath Bristi" actor teased that the popular on-screen duo has shot a sequence featuring Razzak and Shabnam’s iconic song “Aynate Oi Mukh Dekhbe Jokhon.”

"Hothat Brishti" was a superhit film, which earned the very first National Film Award for actor Ferdous Ahmed.

The National Film Awards 2018 will be held on July 8 at the Bangabandhu International Conference Centre's Hall of Fame.
