The intrinsically intricate nooks and crevices of the realities of living with mental health disorders can very well be deemed as being only ever harsher than those represented in media. Even the churning and voicing of these complexities via books or writing can only do so much to make people perceive mental health disorders for what they are. However, when push comes to shove, representations of psychological disorders in any form can mean a further step taken to bring awareness to them — and Bangladeshi projects seem to have touched upon two rather specific ways to represent them.

The much-anticipated rom-com “36-24-36”, starring actress Parthana Fardeen Dighi, has received an uncut Universal (U) rating from the Censor Certification Board, signaling its suitability for audiences of all ages. 

Produced by Chabial and released on the OTT platform Chorki as part of the “Ministry of Love” series, “Forget Me Not” is a web-film conceptualised by Mostafa Sarwar Farooki and directed by Robiul Alam Robi. Premiering on September 5, the film delves into the complexities of modern relationships against the backdrop of Dhaka’s evolving urban landscape.

From portraying the student leader Sagor in “Obujh Pakhi” to playing Fahim in “Forget Me Not”, Yash Rohan is establishing himself as a versatile actor in dramas and on OTT platforms through his diverse character choices.

Soon after the poster for “Forget Me Not” was revealed, anticipation among viewers began to build. Many have already expressed their eagerness to watch the film.
