Bangladesh will be playing all other full members of the International Cricket Council (ICC) during the next cycle of the ICC Men’s Future Tours Programme (FTP) for the period 2023-27, the details of which were confirmed by ICC on Wednesday.

The Bangladesh national women's cricket are expected to get a roadmap and structure as the International Cricket Council (ICC) announced the first-ever women's Future Tours Programme (FTP) yesterday.

According to the first women's Future Tours Programme (FTP), announced by the ICC on Tuesday, Bangladesh’s journey in the third edition of the ICC Women's Championship will begin in December this year when the Tigresses tour New Zealand for three ODIs and as many T20s. 

Bangladesh concluded their Caribbean tour on a high after defeats in the Test and T20I series with a 3-0 whitewash in the ODIs, but the team will have little time to catch their breath as they are scheduled to head to Zimbabwe towards the end of the month.

BCB director Jalal Yunus says the system of organising bilateral series had gone bad since ICC stopped getting involved in the Future Tours Programme.
