Ex-Awami League leader Ruhul Amin, the alleged instructor of a rape in Noakhali’s Subarnachar, is denied bail at the High Court.

The High Court (HC) has grants bail to Ruhul Amin, a former Awami League leader, in connection with a case filed for raping a woman at Subarnachar in Noakhali for casting her vote on December 30.

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir yesterday assured the gang-rape victim of Noakhali's Subarnachar upazila that his party and Jatiya Oikyafront would stand by her.
