Despite the director's dedication, the release of the film has faced multiple delays. The last release date was set for February 9. However, the movie won't be released in February. Despite this, a new song has been unveiled.

The much-anticipated release of prominent director Giasuddin Selim's directorial, “Kajol Rekha”, has reportedly been delayed further due to the team’s plan to launch wider promotional activities.

Mondera Chakroborty the leading lady in the film "Kajol Rekha", directed by Gias Uddin Selim, has commenced shooting for a new movie in this new year. Titled "Neelchakra", the actress is paired opposite Arifin Shuvoo in this upcoming Mithu Khan directorial film.

Giasuddin Selim’s “Kajol Rekha” was scheduled to be released on February 2 and “Dorod” was going to be released on February 9. However, the respective directorial panels delayed the release dates.

The first song out of the 20, titled "Koinnya Ake Go Alpona", was released yesterday. The lyrics for the song have been thoughtfully collected from folk songs and its music has been arranged beautifully by Emon Chowdhury, with vocals provided by Abanti Sithi, Antara Mondal, and Humaira Eshika.

However, somewhat controversially, the film’s tender was handed over to Kibria Films, without much explanation, who decided to take Delwar Jahan Jhantu as the director.

‘Operation Jackpot’, run by the Bengali naval commandos during the Liberation War of Bangladesh in 1971, was able to make a huge mark within a short span of time in the war—by undertaking multiple operations. This was the first operation launched by the naval commandos on August 15, 1971.
