Bangladesh Premier League outfit Rangpur Riders suffered a 32-run defeat against Guyana Amazon Warriors in the Global Super League final at the Providence Stadium in Guyana today. 

Rangpur -- winners of their first two matches -- remained unbeaten, while Dubai bowed out of the tournament with a third consecutive defeat.

The game had its share of ups and downs, but Khaled brought the fireworks when it mattered most.

Bangladesh ace all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan began his Global Super League campaign in fine fashion, scoring a brisk half-century to guide Dubai Capitals to 165 for seven against Central Districts in the tournament opener at the Providence Stadium in Guyana on Thursday.

Rangpur's GSL final appearance was confirmed through a social media post.

Rangpur will play their next match against Australian club Victoria at the same venue on December 1. 

A Rangpur Riders official informed that they won’t get the services of Shakib Al Hasan in the upcoming Global Super League (GSL) in Guyana as the premier all-rounder has prior commitments with Bangla Tigers for the Abu Dhabi T10.
