The government yesterday decided to raise the maximum age for applying for public service jobs by two years to 32.

Any decision on govt job entry age must be part of wider reforms

A government committee has recommended raising the maximum age for applying for public service jobs to 35 years for men and 37 years for women.

State Minister for Public Administration, Farhad Hossain, told parliament today that the government has no plan to raise the age limit for entering government service.
