Grameenphone CEO Yasir Azman says that the mobile network operator is going to face a major crisis within the next a couple of weeks if BTRC does not allow the company to sell any new SIM cards or resell the numbers that have been blocked for 15 months.

Grameenphone yesterday announced Yasir Azman as its new chief executive officer, making him the first Bangladeshi national to assume the role.

The Board of Directors of Grameenphone appoints Yasir Azman as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Bangladeshi operation, effective from February 1, 2020.
