The High Court yesterday acquitted BNP acting chairman Tarique Rahman, former state minister Lutfozzaman Babar and all the others convicted in two cases over the grisly August 21, 2004 grenade attack.

"Justice has been served," Rizvi said at a press conference at the BNP's Nayapaltan central office today

Deputy Attorney General Md Jashim Sarker told The Daily Star after the High Court acquitted all the accused of the cases

Uncertainty looms over quick delivery of a High Court judgement in the August 21, 2004, grenade attack cases as the hearing on appeals and death references has recently been halted.
