Saudi Arabia has increased the number of hajj quota for Bangladesh – 2,415 more Bangladeshis will be able to perform hajj this year.

Each members of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on the Ministry of Religious Affairs wants to send three representatives to Saudi Arabia to perform Hajj this year.

A total of 1,27,198 people will perform Hajj from Bangladesh this year, says Religious Affairs Minister Principal Motiur Rahman.
