“You can debate whether we have to stick to the rules as they are. Or you have to sometimes give a little leeway for a little bit of spirit of cricket. And there'll be people on both sides of the camp."

India will be keen to remain unbeaten at the ICC World Cup and head into the knockout stage of the tournament full of momentum when they host the Netherlands in Bengaluru today.

In an interview with the Daily Star's Mazhar Uddin on Friday, the team's technical director for the World Cup, Sridharan Sriram, opined that Bangladesh need to focus on winning matches abroad if they want to do well in ICC events.
