Pakistan cricket is at its lowest point and needs to make radical changes, all-rounder Imad Wasim said after the team failed to get out of the group stage of the T20 World Cup.

Amir had retired from international cricket in 2020 at the age of 28 while Imad had announced his retirement in November last year.

Imad Wasim announced his retirement from international cricket in November 2023 but has made a U-turn after a brilliant Pakistan Super League (PSL) season.

Imad played a starring role in helping Islamabad United to a third Pakistan Super League (PSL) title on Monday, with the 35-year-old picking up a five-wicket haul to help restrict Multan Sultans to 159-9 and then returning later in the match to guide the run chase home with an unbeaten 19.

Imad was out of the Pakistan ODI team since November 2020 and last played a T20I in April this year.
