Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) recently cancelled the licences of 14 internet service providers (ISPs) after they failed to renew their licences within the specified time.

The Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) recently cancelled the licences of 228 internet service providers (ISPs) for failing to convert their licences in accordance with guidelines.

Internet Service Providers Association of Bangladesh (ISPAB) is demanding a Tk 610 crore grant from the government, to help member companies through the next six months for the pandemic-induced work order cancellations and decline in service requests.
