Only a year after its release, and just ahead of the next iPhone launch, the iPhone 14 and its Pro variant have come under scrutiny as numerous users report unusual battery health declines. This echoes concerns from years ago, evoking memories of the infamous 'batterygate' saga that saw Apple mired in controversy.

Apple has confirmed a new product launch event on September 7, highly rumoured to be the official announcement of the iPhone 14.

Apple Inc plans to start making the iPhone 14 in India about two months after its release out of China, in a move that will narrow the gap from the typical six to nine months for previous launches, Bloomberg News reported on Tuesday.

The iPhone 14 lineup, which is rumored to include the base iPhone 14, a new big-screen iPhone 14, an iPhone 14 Pro, and an iPhone 14 Pro Max, will reportedly be unveiled by Apple at the event. According to rumors, the Pro phones will be equipped with the newest A-series processor, an always-on display, and will do away with the notch in favor of a pill-shaped hole-punch cutout.

The iPhone 14 might see an increased price range because of its new front camera, suggests recent reports.
