Apple unveiled its slimmest smartphone to date, the iPhone Air, during its annual September event in California. 

Apple’s September 2025 event titled “Awe Dropping”, delivered a range of new devices and software, including the iPhone 17 series, updates to earbuds and watches, and a new version of its Final Cut Camera app.

Apple has introduced the iPhone 17 Air, the thinnest iPhone it has ever made, describing it as a combination of lightweight design and professional-level performance. The device was unveiled on September 9 at the company’s headquarters in California.

A new video regarding iPhone leaks posted online by a well-known leaker, known by the handle MajinBu, claims to show a dummy unit of the upcoming iPhone 17 Air, a device that, if the footage is authentic, could represent a significant design shift for Apple.

A new set of iPhone 17 prototype dummies has surfaced in a leak from Sonny Dickson, a source known for reliably sharing non-functional iPhone models used by case and accessory manufacturers to prepare for upcoming releases.
