“He [Jamal] has been in training and has played friendly games for Sol de Mayo. We know he is fit. He lacks in competitive game time but that’s because of the situation of the league in Argentina,” Cabrera told the reporters at a press briefing yesterday.

Bangladesh national football team captain Jamal Bhuiyan has signed for Abahani for the rest of the Bangladesh Premier League 2024 season, the club’s acting director Kazi Nabil Ahmed confirmed to The Daily Star on Tuesday.

Abahani are mulling roping in Bangladesh national team captain Jamal Bhuiyan after Argentine coach Andres Cruciani convinced the team management that they would need a local midfielder like Jamal, who currently plays for Argentina's third-division outfit Sol de Mayo.
