Greater Japanese investment vital in achieving our development goals

Over the last five decades, the relationship between Bangladesh and Japan has flourished and evolved into a mutually beneficial and symbiotic partnership, bringing about positive outcomes for both countries.

The Government of Japan is to provide Bangladesh a total amount of US $1.31 billion as loan for the Matarbari coal-fired power plant project.
