Dhaka University campus witnessed waves of protests yesterday as demonstrations continued for the fifth consecutive day, demanding the arrest of the killers of university student Shahriar Alam Shammo.

The protesters also demanded the resignation of the VC and proctor of Dhaka University

Earlier in the day students began assembling at Madhur Canteen

Masud Alam, deputy commissioner of Ramna Division Police, said the arrestees are outsiders

The procession, under the banner of "Students Against Terrorism", began around 8:20pm

They also called for the resignation of the VC, proctor, and home adviser
