Zahir Raihan's dream project, "Let There Be Light", which he couldn’t finish filming during his lifetime, remains a contentious subject, as his family has expressed firm opposition to its completion by any other filmmaker.

With great reverence we remember Khan Ataur Rahman, famously known as Khan Ata, a film director, actor, producer, screenplay writer, music composer, singer and an important name in the history of Bangladeshi films, who was born on this very day in the year of 1928 in Ramkantapur village of Manikganj district.

Zahir Raihan directed one of the most feted Bangla movies, “Jibon Thekey Neya”, featuring Khan Ataur Rahman, Rowshan Jamil, Anwar Hossain, Razzaque, and Suchanda.
