Jim Carrey may soon be heading to space — the actor is in early talks to star in Warner Bros. Pictures’ live-action adaptation of “The Jetsons,” with Colin Trevorrow (Jurassic World Dominion) in discussions to direct, Variety has confirmed.

It has been confirmed that Jim Carrey will return to the big screen as the infamous mad scientist, Dr Robotnik, in the upcoming film "Sonic the Hedgehog 3". Despite the apparent demise of the character in the climax of the second instalment, the post-credits scene hinted at his dramatic comeback.

Jim Carrey is said to be undergoing negotiations to play the villain Robotnik in the live-action adaptation of the renowned SEGA game Sonic the Hedgehog. The film is going to be directed by Jeff Fowler, and is under Paramount Studios.
