Barishal Education Board fares the best for the second consecutive year in JSC and JDC examination results with a pass rate of 97.05 per cent while Dhaka Education Board is in the bottom with a pass rate of 82.92 per cent.

Following cyclonic storm 'Bulbul' which lashed the country's coastal districts, Tuesday's Junior School Certificate (JSC) and Junior Dakhil Certificate (JDC) examinations have been rescheduled.

The Junior School Certificate (JSC) and Junior Dakhil Certificate (JDC) examinations scheduled for Monday (November 11) have been postponed across the country due to the approaching “Cyclone Bulbul”.

A total of 66,194 candidates are absent on the first day of Junior School Certificate (JSC) and Junior Dakhil Certificate (JDC) examinations while 38 students are expelled for resorting to unfair means.

Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni says all the coaching centers would remain closed from October 25 till November 15 due to the Junior School Certificate (JSC) and Junior Dakhil Certificate (JDC) examinations.
