Although Eid-ul-Fitr is still a little while away, audiences are ardently anticipating the films scheduled for release during the festive season.

Starring Abdun Noor Shajal and Nusraat Faria, “Jinn 3” is currently in production under the direction of Kamruzzaman Roman. The film commenced shooting earlier this month in Munshiganj, with the cast and crew returning to Dhaka on Monday (February 17) after completing sequences in Nawabganj. 

Nader Chowdhury’s directorial debut “Jinn” created quite a buzz among audiences, with actor Shajal Noor in the lead role. Following its success, “Mona: Jinn-2” was produced, but Shajal was not part of the cast. Now, “Jinn 3” is set to go into production, featuring actor Shajal in the lead, once again.

This year, an estimated 50 Bangladeshi films have been released. Among these, only a handful have achieved commercial success. Then again, despite not performing well at the box office, other cinematic aspects like actors, actresses, and film songs have managed to remain at the centre of discussions throughout the year.

Bangladeshi film "Mona: Jinn 2" has crossed borders to hit cinemas in Pakistan, extending its reach beyond the nation's multiplexes. The movie, which has been drawing audiences during the Eid season in Bangladesh, is now being screened in 24 cinemas across various regions of Pakistan, including Lahore, Karachi, and Islamabad.

The film industry is gearing up for the release of several highly anticipated movies for Eid-ul-Fitr. Among them, "Kajol Rekha" and "Lipstick" have recently achieved a significant milestone by obtaining censor certificates, clearing their path for Eid release.

Yesterday, actor Ador Azard announced that he is signing a new production, on the occasion of his birthday. The new film is titled “Lipstick” and will be directed by Kamruzzaman Roman.

The Bangladeshi director stated that they hope to officially sign in Mithun Chakraborty for their film before this Eid.
