The power-packed performer and three-time National Film Award-winning actor Chanchal Chowdhury is gearing up with some exciting new projects on OTT after a while. For this upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr, he will be featured in the much-awaited Chorki-backed original web-film, “The Last Defenders of Monogamy”, directed by Mostofa Sarwar Farooki.

During an exclusive photoshoot and adda with The Daily Star, Partho talked about his acting and directorial journey while also spilling some beans on upcoming projects.

Directed by Syed Ahmed Shawki, the web-series captured the hearts of audiences on both sides of Bengal. Chanchal Chowdhury's stellar performance left the audience speechless, and they could not help but wait in anticipation for when Part 2 of the series would be released. Everyone who watched Part 1, were eagerly waiting for the release of Part 2—which began streaming on midnight of December 22.

The much anticipated series of the year, "Karagar" part 2, was supposed to stream from December 15. However, the show has been postponed due to the ongoing FIFA world cup. 

Upon its release, Hoichoi’s “Karagar” became the talk of the town, garnering an immense, positive response from the audience. Viewers were heavily intrigued by the mystery man, played by Chanchal Chowdhury.

Karagar intrigued me further to explore the world of Bangla Entertainment having their, long-awaited shot on OTT platforms. With a little bit of digging, I came across a few more intriguing Bangla shows with an equal potential to intrigue. Here are my top picks.
