The broadcast of Gaan Bangla Television has been suspended. Bangladesh Satellite Company Limited has decided to halt the broadcast due to unpaid satellite fees. 

On Sunday (August 4), Gaan Bangla, the country’s only music-focused television channel, was heavily vandalised and looted by miscreants. 

Pahela Baishakh has become even more special for Gaan Bangla’s musical couple Kaushik Hossain Taposh and Farzana Munny as they have welcomed their grandchild today.

The recently released widely circulated song "Biri" written, tuned, and composed by Kaushik Hossain Taposh has reached a significant milestone. Published by TM Records, this song has been voiced by singer Parvez Sazzad.

Speculations about a transnational gathering or concert arose after Kaushik Hossain Taposh from his verified Facebook page opened polls and started taking votes on whom the audiences would most likely want to see perform in Dhaka.

The quiz campaign surrounding the song engaged over ten thousand people, with more than seven hundred providing correct answers. A lucky winner, selected from among them, will be awarded a cash prize of Tk one lakh very soon.

Recently, following the dissemination of a modified version of actress Apu Biswas' conversation with Gaan Bangla Chairperson Farzana Munny on a ‘controversial matter,’ false information proliferated both in local media and on various social media platforms.

Gaan Bangla's CEO Kaushik Hossain Taposh started his birthday on a festive note. He cut a cake with his lovely family and beautiful wife, Farzana Munny, when the clock struck 12. The "Prohelika" team decided to surprise the Gaan Bangla CEO by dropping by the TM records office.
